Phoenix’s First Friday

DSC_9656 First Friday in downtown Phoenix… a time for crazy hipsters, emotional artists and drunkards to roam the streets. Or, a time for creation. Which is what I prefer to see it as.

Whether it’s really skilled, experienced artists on the street or amateurs trying to make it big, it’s so fun to roam Roosevelt Row and see the creations taking place.

I don’t want to write much in this post because the true beauty of first Friday is just something you have to experience first hand.

All I want to say is when you go somewhere, try and look for inspiration. We all are searching for guidance at one point or another in our lives, but I don’t think it just appears magically.

My favorite part of First Friday was a giant chalkboard that said ‘What do you live to create?’

Figure out what it is you want and go after it. Live with intention. Live to create something.

Take a look!
